Police Log: Many Motor Vehicle Issues

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Oct. 10

7:33 a.m. – A pink fabric wallet with no cash, but with assorted insurance and bank cards, was found at the Concord Free Public Library. The owner later came and picked it up at the station.

7:51 a.m. – A 911 call came in reporting a hunter shooting geese near a Hawthorne Lane residence. A call to the Environmental Police confirmed it was open season on geese, and local police confirmed the two hunters had permission to be on the property.

8:09 a.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Sudbury Road and Academy Lane and assisted with the paper exchange.

12:18 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident at West Concord Supermarket in which a delivery driver reportedly struck a vehicle parked in the area.

12:49 p.m. – A New Hampshire woman called to report someone hit her vehicle while it was parked at Concord Hillside Medical Associates and fled the area.

3:30 p.m. – An Uxbridge man and rubbish company owner reported a Coburn Hill Road resident had a dispute with one of his drivers over his speed. Police planned to follow up.

7:09 p.m. – A Woburn man reported his disabled minivan would be parked overnight on Sudbury Road and would be towed in the morning. Police checked the vehicle to make sure it was not a hazard.

7:37 p.m. – A Monson road resident reported receiving a caller who wanted permission to put a sign in her front yard. She just wanted the incident recorded.
