Police Log: Many Motor Vehicle Stops, an OUI and Suspicious Activity

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Jan. 1

1:15 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Bedford Street and Partridge Lane, a Bedford man received a verbal warning for defective equipment and no inspection sticker.

1:59 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Main Street and Nashawtuc Road, Jake Manson White, of 100 Keyes Road, Apt. 209, Concord, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and motor vehicle lights violation.

5:20 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Union Turnpike and the Acton town line, a Walpole woman was summonsed for operating a motor vehicle with her license revoked and marked lanes violation.

11:25 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 2 east and Emerson Hospital, a Leominster man was summonsed for unregistered motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with his registration suspended/revoked and uninsured motor vehicle.

3:56 p.m. – Police responded to Monument Street for a resident’s complaint about someone spitting on his mailbox in an ongoing issue.

5:17 p.m. – Police responded to a report of suspicious activity at 50 Beharrell St., where a passerby reportedly observed flashlights inside a building being demolished. The responding officer confirmed the people inside were members of the property owners’ family.

5:34 p.m. – Police responded to a 911 call reporting suspicious activity on Cress Brook Road, where there was an unfamiliar sedan in a driveway.

7:11 p.m. – A Barretts Mill Road resident called to report a loud noise in the direction of Lee Drive. The resident also said there were a series of loud noises the previous evening.

8:43 p.m. – A Nancy Road resident reported an unfamiliar vehicle was parked in the area for the past 30 minutes. The responding officer located the vehicle, a rental driven by someone visiting an area resident.

10:36 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Old Marlboro Road and Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, a Maynard resident was summonsed for operating a motor vehicle with his license suspended and speeding.
