Police Log: Missing Cash, Suspicious Vehicles and More

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, July 18

6:58 a.m. – An officer radioed in to report checking on a vehicle leaving CMLP’s Forest Ridge Road substation. According to the report, the officer said the man was tracking a generator to be delivered to CMLP in the next few weeks, and the officer also requested that the incident be logged.

8:26 a.m. – A call came in complaining about a pickup truck driving on the White Pond Association beach. According to the incident report, the truck’s driver was a worker cleaning up the concrete for the association.

8:58 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a brown and white dog in the roadway on Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, by Route 2.

10:29 a.m. – A Thoreau Street resident reported receiving a suspicious phone call from a particularly persistent and allegedly rude solicitor.

11:39 a.m. – A parking complaint came in from Everett Gardens reporting a Ford Focus in a reserved spot.

3:19 p.m. – A 911 call came in reporting a two-car accident around Monument Square.

3:31 p.m. – Police responded to a reported disabled motor vehicle at Route 2 west and Baker Avenue. State Police were on-scene and the vehicle was pushed off the roadway.

3:58 p.m. – A supervisor from Walden Rehab reported a resident was missing $40 from his room.

9:22 p.m. – Police responded to a reported fireworks complaint in the area of Hillside Avenue.

11:12 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 2 and Sudbury Road, a Lowell resident was cited for operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating after suspension.
