Police Log: MVA; Suspicious Activity; OUI Arrest

The Concord Police Department supplied the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

The following incidents were documented in the logs.

Motor Vehicle Crash
At approximately 5:20 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19, police responded to a minor motor vehicle accident in the parking lot of . The reporting party stated a verbal altercation ensued between the drivers in the parking lot before one of the individuals entered the building. Police arrived on scene and observed minor damage, and assisted with paper exchange.

Summons Issued for Vehicle Violations
Just before 8 p.m. on Thursday, police initiated a motor vehicle stop on Concord Turnpike at Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, resulting in a summons issued for operating a vehicle with a suspended/revoked registration, and and uninsured motor vehicle.

Suspicious Activity
At approximately 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, police received a call from a passing motorist on Main Street at Coolidge Road reporting suspicious activity involving a moving van backing down the extended driveway of a darkened house. Police responded to the area, but the truck was gone upon their arrival. May have been a high-clearance truck turning back from the railroad trestle.

OUI Arrest
At approximately 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22, police initiated a motor vehicle stop on Concord Turnpike at Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, resulting in the arrest of Corey W. Nass, 28, of Fitchburg, for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol (second offense), lights violation and marked lanes violation.
