Police Log: Parking Dispute Gets Messy ... Like, Dog Feces Messy (Allegedly)

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Jan. 15

7:48 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Keyes and Lowell roads.

8:01 a.m. – CPW reported a tree down across Old Marlboro Road by MacArthur Road. The obstruction was removed.

8:32 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Main Street, an Ashland woman received a written warning for speeding.

8:52 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a tree company truck blocking the roadway on Virginia Road by Philip Farm. The responding officer reported the company moved its vehicle off to the side of the road.

11:22 a.m. – A 911 hang-up call came in from a man at Concord Health Care. It was confirmed as accidental, by a patient who was trying to dial out from his room.

3:04 p.m. – Multiple calls came in reporting two dogs loose in the area of Partridge Lane and Bedford Street.

4:35 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Old Road to Nine Acre Corner and Wolf Pine Way, a Concord woman received a written warning for speeding.

6:38 p.m. – A Maynard man reported past suspicious activity involving “dog feces smeared on his car” sometime during the day, while he was parked on Elsinore Street and commuting to work. The man claimed the dog droppings were smeared on the driver’s door handle, down the driver’s side door of the vehicle and on the trunk. “This follows two notes left on [the man’s] vehicle last week advising him not to park in the area, although no overnight violation or restricted parking area is involved,” the incident report said.

6:41 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported a two-vehicle collision in the vicinity of Lowell and Barretts Mill roads.
