Police Log: Power Loss, Suspicious Persons and Skating After Hours

Tuesday, Jan. 8

12:25 a.m. – A 911 call came in from a Pilgrim Road resident reporting a power loss and possible wire on fire. An area resident reported the homes were not on fire, just the wire leading to the residence. The Concord Municipal Light Plant responded to the scene.

2:38 a.m. – A Monsen Road resident reported observing lights inside on inside the Great Meadows Wildlife Refuge and a person walking past her residence on foot. An officer checked the area and nothing was found.

10:30 a.m. – A Powder Mill Road resident reported receiving harassing phone calls ever day for the past week.

12:01 p.m. – A 911 misdial came in from the Concord Museum.

4:15 p.m. – An abandoned 911 call came in from Welch’s on Baker Avenue. On the callback, it was confirmed to be an accidental misdial.

8:40 p.m. – Police responded to a report of numerous people using the skating area on Rideout Field after dark and into the early morning hours, making significant noise in the area and shining headlights toward the rink, which face into the caller, a Laws Brook Road resident’s windows.

9:07 p.m. – Police responded to a report of an erratic operator all over the road and crossing the yellow line in the area of Old Bedford Road and Butternut Circle. As the vehicle crossed into Bedford, the police department there was advised.
