Police Log: Power Tools Found Around Walden Pond

4:24 a.m. – An officer radioed in to report checking on a vehicle with Florida plates after observing it leave a residence on Seven Star Lane. The driver, a Florida man, checked OK and was heading to the airport, the police report said.

6:42 a.m. – An alarm company called to report an office security alarm at the Concord Country Club maintenance building. Police responded to the scene and reported it was accidental, by an employee.

8:18 a.m. – A Water Department employee walked into the station with a tree stand found on Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, by the Deaconess well.

11:40 a.m. – A Concord man reported losing his brown leather wallet somewhere in town, sometime over the previous few days.

11:53 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a snowplow has gone missing from the landfill sometime over the past month.

12:04 p.m. – Police responded to a report of trucks unloading items and blocking traffic on Walden Street, near Main Street.

12:06 p.m. – A motorist reported a tree company working in the area of Old Marlboro Road and Harrington Avenue was stopping traffic. The responding officer reported the tree service company was loading up its equipment and would be off the road momentarily.

12:53 p.m. – A New Hampshire man came into the station to turn in a black DeWalt case containing a circular saw and drill, which he found a few days earlier on Route 126, by the Lincoln line.

4:17 p.m. – A Chestnut Street resident called to complain about a pile of leaves left in the roadway on Walnut Street. The caller said she felt the leaves could become a safety hazard.

10:01 p.m. – Police responded to a panic alarm activation on Great Meadows Road, which was confirmed to be accidental.
