Police Log: Protective Custody; Theft from CCHS; OUI Arrest

The following incidents were documented in the logs.
Protective Custody
At approximately 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 23, police were notified of a female subject walking down Hubbard Street toward , described as being intoxicated. According to the reporting party, the involved individual has a history of intoxication. Police made contact with the involved individual and placed her in protective custody.
Theft from CCHS
Just before 3 p.m. on Monday, police received a call from a student reporting the theft of her iPod from an Earth Science class at .
OUI Arrest
Just after 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24, police initiated a motor vehicle stop on Elm Street at Commerford Road, resulting in the arrest of Linda E. Riley, 31, of Acton, for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol (second offense), marked lanes violations, and no inspection sticker.
Suspicious Activity at Cousins Field
Just before 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, police received a report of a water gauge stolen from the water at Cousins Field. The gauge was a replacement after a previous larceny. Police made contact with a nearby neighbor and were able to locate the missing items, which were replaced.
