Police Log: Reported B-and-Es, and an Arrest in Connection with Them

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Jan. 14

6:21 a.m. – AAA reported a disabled motor vehicle in the area of Man and Thoreau streets. Pro-Tech arrived on the scene fro the tow.

7:51 a.m. – Police responded to a reported breaking-and-entering to a motor vehicle on Wedgewood Common.

8:57 a.m. – A Lexington resident reported a motor vehicle was broken into overnight on Laws Brook Road, and $3,500 in gas cards were taken.

9:48 a.m. – A Concord Green resident reported receiving a suspicious letter regarding her political activity.

11:58 a.m. – Police responded to a reported attempted breaking-and-entering to a garage at Concord Commons on Conant Street. As a result of an investigation, Dante Walker Diodati, 20, of 4 Warren Road, Apt. 5, Stow, was arrested and charged with two counts of breaking-and-entering to a building during the nighttime for a felony, two counts of malicious destruction of property valued over $250, two counts of breaking-and-entering to a building/boat, malicious destruction of property valued under $250, larceny under $250 and larceny over $250.

1:31 p.m. – A Wedgewood Commons resident reported an attempting breaking and entering to the garage.

2:12 p.m. – Police responded to a reported breaking-and-entering at Wedgewood Common in which nothing was taken from an unlocked motor vehicle.

4:09 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Baker Ave and Route 2, a Littleton man was summonsed for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

6:05 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in which a vehicle was struck in Emerson Hospital’s parking lot.

11:19 p.m. – An officer radioed in to report a person appeared to be going through the trash on Elm Street, by Park Lane.

Tuesday, Jan. 15

1:50 a.m. – An officer radioed in to report checking on a motor vehicle in Monument Square, by the Town House. The driver had reportedly pulled over to make a phone call.

7:42 a.m. – A motorist reported a sliver Mercedes speeding on Pope Road, coming from Carlisle through Concord and toward Acton.

12:12 p.m. – Police responded to a report of an erratic operator, driving at a high rate of speed on Virginia Road, heading toward Lincoln.

4:06 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Conant Street, which allegedly occurred the overnight on Jan. 13 into Jan. 14.

4:15 p.m. – An Old Marlboro Road resident reported a past larceny of packages from the steps, which allegedly occurred Monday, Jan. 14. The packages were reportedly worth an estimated $100.

4:33 p.m. – Multiple motorists reported a two-vehicle collision on Sudbury Road near Crosby’s Marketplace. There was minor damage to both vehicles, the incident report said.

6:40 p.m. – A 911 caller reported a motor vehicle collision with a deer on Monument Street. The vehicle was towed and the animal was discovered in a field off the roadway.
