Police Log: Reported B-and-Es, Repo Man at the Wrong House

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Aug. 1

2:50 a.m. – An officer radioed in to report checking on a vehicle at the Thoreau School. The vehicle’s occupants were reportedly dropping donated clothing in a donation bin there.

4:15 a.m. – Police checked on three people outside the 7-Eleven in West Concord. The three individuals, all Concord residents, were reportedly using the “loaner bikes” from Bradford Street and returning the borrowed property.

6:17 a.m. – A parking complaint came in from Plainfield Road reporting a vehicle parked on her street since the previous day. The vehicle was out of gas.

7:05 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 2 and Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, a Watertown man was cited for number plate violation to conceal his ID, uninsured motor vehicle and unregistered motor vehicle.

8:12 a.m. – Police responded to a reported breaking-and-entering to a motor vehicle, which occurred overnight on Musketaquid Road. According to the incident report, the car’s front window was smashed out and it was unknown if anything was taken.

8:28 a.m. – Two windows were reportedly smashed at the South Bridge Boat House on Main Street.

10:53 a.m. – An Elm Street resident reported her motor vehicle was broken-into sometime overnight, with entry gained through the soft top of her Jeep. The woman reported her wallet and other various items were missing.

11:07 a.m. – A Highway Division employee reported past vandalism to an angel statue at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.

11:48 a.m. – A Baker Avenue resident came into the station to report her vehicle was broken into overnight and her purse was stolen.

5:13 p.m. – Officers responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Cambridge Turnpike and Route 2. Three tows were requested to the scene, and one driver was cited.

6:35 p.m. – Police responded to a report of teenagers possibly smoking marijuana at the end of Old Mill Road. Officers checked the area, but the teens were gone on arrival.

7:05 p.m. – A Concord woman called 911 looking for the non-emergency line so she could request information regarding an alleged identity theft.

7:22 p.m. – A Caterina Heights resident reported a tow truck was at his home and trying to repossess his vehicle. According to the incident report, the tow was from a “Lucky 13” repossession company, but he was attempting to repossess the wrong vehicle.

11 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a possible underage drinking party on Kenney Lane. The responding officer did find teens drinking in the area and one of them, a 16-year-old, was cited for underage possession of liquor.

11:10 p.m. – As a result of a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Sudbury Road and Seven Star Lane, a Concord man was cited or negligent operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.
