Police Log: Snow Problems, Drunk at the Front Desk

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, Dec. 14

3:03 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Lexington Road and Monument Square, a Concord man was cited for Stop sign violation.

9:12 a.m. – Police responded to a report of past suspicious activity on Plainfield Road, where a resident reported hearing someone shaking his front door the previous evening and awoke to find footprints in the snow around his driveway.

2:36 p.m. – Multiple 911 calls came in from Newbury Court, where a resident was attempting to dial an outside number. Staff confirmed there were no emergencies there at the time.

5:15 p.m. – A Bedford resident reported losing his driver’s license and VISA bank card in downtown Concord earlier in the day.

7:43 p.m. – A Stow Street resident called to complain about a dog barking in the area across from Hunt’s Gym. The responding officer reported the area was quiet at the time.

8:22 p.m. – Police responded to a parking complaint reporting a vehicle was blocking access to Fairhaven Hill Road and Arena Terrace. The responding officer reported the vehicle was moved by its owner, who was attending a house party in the area.

11:32 p.m. – A Hill Street resident called in a noise complaint reporting loud music coming from a party in the area. The responding officer reported all was quiet at the time.

Sunday, Dec. 15

3:12 a.m. A 911 call came in from the All-Town Mobile reporting an employee on the premises after his shift had been “bothering” customers for the past four hours. The responding officer reported the employee would remain in his vehicle until he could leave when weather conditions improved.

11:17 a.m. – An Annursnac Hill Road resident came into the station to drop off a white iPhone she found in the snow on Main Street.

12:31 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a resident snowblowing into the street in the area of Main Street and Edgewood Road in violation of a town bylaw.

12:34 p.m. – An Annursnac Hill Road called to report her neighbors keep snowblowing into her yard. The responding officer spoke with both residents.

3:19 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a green Subaru operating erratically on Route 117 before pulling into Dunkin’ Donuts at Nine Acre Corner. The vehicle was gone on arrival.

3:46 p.m. – A resident from Off Harrington Road reported his neighbor keeps pushing snow into his driveway. The responding officer left a message for the neighbor to contact an officer regarding the matter.

6:16 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 2 by the Exxon, a Boxborough man received a written warning for speeding.

11:58 p.m. – Police responded to the Colonial Inn to assist with a possibly intoxicated man by the front desk. The man in question was in his room when officers arrived on the scene.
