Police Log: Stray Dogs, Suspicious Tourists and Speeding Vehicles

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Oct. 10

6:52 a.m. – A 911 call came in from Lang Street reporting a small silver car speeding down the road toward Monument Street. The responding officers were unable to locate the vehicle in question.

10:22 a.m. – An Alcott Road resident reported an unfamiliar man showed up in her front yard and was now wondering the Lexington Road area. Police were able to locate the man, who was a tourist enjoying the area who was unaware of property lines.

10:34 a.m. – Police responded to an Annursnac Hill Road resident’s parking complaint about a truck blocking the access road by the association beach.

4:03 p.m. – A passing motorist reported a stray chocolate Lab at large in the Caterina Heights neighborhood.

5:57 p.m. – An Orchard Road resident reported a dog on Main Street had been barking for the past few hours.

9:20 p.m. – Police responded to an alarm activation at the Concord Free Public Library on Main Street. An employee was located on the premises, and the interior checked OK.
