Police Log: Stuck Stuck Goose? And a Reported Drone Sighting

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Sept. 2

8:25 a.m. – As a result of a reported motor vehicle stop, police responded to Route 2 east by the Rotary Circle. Paperwork was exchanged.

10:08 a.m. – A 911 hang-up came in from Middlesex School off Lowell Road. It was confirmed as accidental by the school.

10:14 a.m. – An Edmonds Road resident reported a goose stuck in the tennis courts at the end of the roadway. Animal control was advised.

11:14 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a pickup truck blocking the driveway at a River Street residence.

11:26 a.m. – A Brooks Street resident called to complaint about a vehicle parked on the roadway.

12:23 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a gray Honda parked illegally in the area of Brooks and Grant streets.

12:23 p.m. – Police responded to a report of erratic operation of a motor vehicle in the area of Sudbury Road headed into town from Route 2. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle in question.

12:35 p.m. – A Weston woman reported her wallet was stolen from the area by the war memorial at Monument Square. Shortly thereafter, an officer located the woman’s wallet and returned it to her.

2:27 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of the Route 2 Rotary and Comm Ave.

3:34 p.m. – Police responded to a Deer Grass Lane resident’s report that a drone flew over her house the previous week.

10:04 p.m. – A Concord woman called in an ongoing traffic complaint in which vehicles don’t stop at the Stop signs at the intersections of Pine and Central streets. The caller requested more frequent traffic enforcement in the area.

11:28 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle vs. dog accident on Main Street.
