Police Log: Suspicious Activity and Teens Sitting on Skateboards

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Nov. 12

1:12 a.m. – An officer radioed in to report he was out checking on a motor vehicle off Route 2 in the area of Walden Street. The driver had pulled off of the roadway to user her cell phone.

10:58 a.m. – An Elsinore Street resident called to report finding a dog with an invisible fence collar, but no tags. The dog was later returned to its home on Belknap Street, and the dog officer notified of that development.

3:38 p.m. – A Holdenwood Road resident called to complain about teens sitting on skateboards in the middle of the street. Police checked the area, but did not locate the youths.

6:05 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Laws Brook Road and Conant Street, a Hudson man received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with his license revoked.

7:25 p.m. – Police responded to a report of suspicious activity in which a Heaths Bridge Road resident reported hearing what sounded like a large piece of metal hitting the ground from across the street, where there is a home under construction. The area checked all secure; there were some animals in the area of a dumpster on the officer’s arrival.

 9:51 p.m. – A woman called from Everett Gardens to report possible activity at Peter Bulkeley Terrace. The caller thought there might have been someone working in the building, and requested it be checked. Police reported that the building checked secure.
