Police Log: Suspicious Activity, Unwanted Hunters and a Hit-and-Run

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Nov. 15

12:24 a.m. – A Laws Brook Road resident reported possible suspicious activity involving a neighbor’s car parked with its interior lights on. The vehicle checked secure.

7:46 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a disabled motor vehicle in the area of Crosby’s Corner. The responding officer reported a tow was on the scene.

9:05 a.m. – A Westford Road resident reported hunters in the area of her home, who were not supposed to be hunting or parking on the conservation land there. The responding officer spoke with the hunters, who had permission to be on a nearby property and advised police of an ongoing issue with the neighbor.

11:05 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a white poodle found in the area of Williams and Old Marlboro roads. The dog was reunited with its owner.

12:59 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a past hit-and-run accident on Commonwealth Avenue. According to the incident report, the accident occurred sometime the previous day.

2:55 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident on Elm Street ahead of the Rotary. Two people were transported to Emerson Hospital and one person was cited for failure to use care in stopping.

3:04 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 2, a Concord woman was cited for operating a motor vehicle with her license suspended, operating a motor vehicle with suspended/revoked registration and uninsured motor vehicle.

5:23 p.m. – Police responded to Emerson Hospital for a report of an intoxicated patient who was out of control. The patient was picked up by an Acton resident.

9:22 p.m. – Police responded to a report of suspicious activity involving two cars parked in the cul-de-sac on Sandy Pond Road.

9:48 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 2 and Baker Ave Extension, a New Hampshire man was cited for speeding and operating a motor vehicle with his license suspended.
