Police Log: Suspicious Van; Revoked Registration Arrest

The Concord Police Department supplied the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

The following incidents were documented in the Concord Police logs.

Driving Without a License

Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at 10:48 p.m. on July 5 in front of the landfill on Walden St. While conducting a check of the driver, police found that the registration plate on the vehicle had been suspended and the operator was driving with a revoked license.

Police arrested 29-year-old Terrel Randle of Concord and charged him with operating with a revoked license and operating with a suspended/revoked registration.

Suspicious Males

A caller reported at 11:39 a.m. on July 5 that a tan Yokon SUV was in the area of 12 White St. The caller said that two male subjects were in the van and that they hung around for roughly 45 minutes.

Police responded to the area, but the vehicle was gone on arrival.

Flyer Distributor

Police were called to Hillside Ave. for a report of a suspicious man placing flyers in mailboxes. The party also reported that the man went to a neighbor’s house and tested the door.

Police spoke to the subject, who said that he was simply placing flyers into mailboxes. The man did admit that he tried a couple of doors, as well, and police advised him to only place flyers into mailboxes.
