Police Log: Suspicous Vehicle Abound
The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Wednesday, Aug. 22
8:18 a.m. – A person walked into the station to turn in a debit card turned found in the municipal lot on Keyes Road. After the apparent owner of the card did not respond to a call, an officer turned the card over to a bank manager here in town.
8:30 a.m. – A Mildred Circle resident reported that, in the past two mornings, a white vane with ladders attached to the side was parked outside of thee house. An officer located the vehicle, which turned out to belong to a resident of a nearby property.

9:58 a.m. – Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident with airbag deployment in the area of South Meadow Ridge and Old Marlboro Road. The officers requested two wreckers and a fire department response.
10:45 a.m. – An Elm Street resident reported losing his wallet in the area of Lindsay Pond Road or Annursnac Hill.

11:12 a.m. – An Everett Street resident reported picking up dogs from Monument Square that were in the roadway. The caller said he was familiar with the dogs but unable to contact the owners.
11:56 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a vehicle with New Jersey plates driving 15 miles per hour and crossing the double yellow lines on Route 2 and onto Elm Street toward Concord Center.
12:48 p.m. – Emerson Hospital security requested assistance with finding the owner of a vehicle parked near the emergency room that needed to be moved. According to the incident report, the owner of the vehicle was a visiting doctor and there were no issues.
12:56 p.m. – A Groton man requested to speak with an officer regarding damage to his vehicle that allegedly occurred while it was parked at a lot on Sudbury Road.
1:50 p.m. – A South Street resident reported an apparently sick fox in the area of Harrington and Upland Roads. According to the police report, the animal was gone on arrival.
9:41 p.m. – Police responded to a report of two vehicles pulling into the Great Meadows Wildlife Refuge after hours. According to the police report, the operators were advised of the refuge’s regulations and were sent on their way.
11:18 p.m. – A Health’s Bridge Road resident reported a suspicious motor vehicle parked at the end of the roadway. The responding officer located the vehicle and the operator checked OK as he headed home to Carlisle, the police report said.
