Police Log: Tagging School Grounds and A Cry for Help Getting Home

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Nov. 26

7:15 a.m. – Police responded to Willard School for a report of past “turfing” and tagging on the premises during the holiday weekend. Police snapped photos of the tagging, and reported there was no turfing, just inadvertent tire tracks.

8:15 a.m. – An employee from the school transportation department reported a landscape company was blowing debris into the roadway on Nashawtuc Road.

8:26 a.m. – A detail officer reported a school bus struck a street light at Thoreau and Belknap street.

3:59 p.m. – Police responded to a report of landscapers blowing leaves into traffic from a business on Main Street.

5:37 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a truck that pulled up to the bridge at Main and Wood streets and cold not pass underneath.

9:27 p.m. – A 911 caller from Everett Street reported a woman in blue jeans and a hooded jacket was crying for help on her front steps. Police reported the woman was attempting to arrange a ride home to Bedford.
