Police Log: Teenagers Hop Along Rooftops in Concord Center

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, Aug. 18

1:35 a.m. – Police responded to a 911 call from Thoreau Street reporting a loud party on Devens Street and advised the host of the complaint as his guests were leaving.

8:39 a.m. – A 911 call came in reporting a motor vehicle accident in South Orange, NJ. Police relayed that report to the appropriate department.

12:40 p.m. – A Concord woman reported losing her mother’s debit card near the Beede Center around 10 a.m.

6:33 p.m. – A Concord woman reported losing the electronic key to her Volvo somewhere in the Squaw Sachem Woods while walking earlier in the day.

6:49 p.m. – A man walked into the station to turn in a Sovereign Bank debit card and driver’s license found on a bench outside Sorrento’s.

6:50 p.m. – A man came into the station to report a man in a van with New York plates was parked outside his home and appeared to be viewing his residence. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

7:40 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a deer with two broken legs was lying in the roadway on Westford Road after apparently being struck by a motor vehicle. The responding officer reported the animal was put down and moved off the roadway.

10 p.m. – A Holdenwood Road resident reported observing a loose running dog by .

Sunday, Aug. 19

7:08 a.m. – A Sudbury man reported a black Honda Accord was operating erratically on Fitchburg Turnpike and struck a guardrail before stopping by Plainfield Road. The responding officer reported checking the area but the vehicle was gone on arrival.

11:38 a.m. – Lexington Alarm reported a burglary alarm at the Nashoba Brooks School, but the hallway motion alarm was actually just triggered by a crew working on flooring.

1:18 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a box of computers left in the parking lot of the on Commonwealth Avenue in West Concord.

 2:42 p.m. – An Aurora Lane resident reported her mail was ripped open in her mailbox and apparently had been gone through sometime in the past few days.

7:55 p.m. – An employee from Concord Hand Designs came into the station to report two teens had jumped on the roof earlier in the day while jumping from roof to roof along Main Street in Concord Center.

8:21 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop at Concord Turnpike and Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, Juan C. Molina, 32, of 289 Cummings Highway, Roslindale, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and a lights violation.
