Police Log: The One When the Barefoot, Bearded Man Breaks Into a School

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Sept. 5

6:40 a.m. – Police responded to an alarm activation at a business on Baker Avenue Extension.

7:47 a.m. – A burglary alarm triggered at a bank on Walden Street.

8:06 a.m. – A commercial alarm activated at a business on Commonwealth Avenue.

9:03 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a branch in the roadway on Virginia Road. The downed limb was moved to the side of the road.

9:11 a.m. – A 911 call acme in from Emerson Hospital. It was confirmed as an accidental dial by an employee attempting to access an outside line.

10:27 a.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Comm Ave and Route 2. The collision was minor, and officers assisted with a paper exchange.

1:25 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle accident, a Concord man was cited for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, obstructing an emergency vehicle and failure to stop/yield.

2:02 p.m. – Multiple reports came in about a broken railroad crossing gate at Comm Ave. The gate was removed from the roadway.

4:20 p.m. – A Concord woman called from her daughter’s house on Main Street to report a large dog loose in the area.

9:41 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a barefoot, bearded man breaking into the Fenn School and then left the area in a white box truck. According to the incident report, there did not appear to be anything missing or any damage found.
