Police Log: The One With a 911 Call Reporting Barrels on Monument Street

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Jan. 10

1:01 a.m. – An officer reported checking on a vehicle parked on Stow Street with its interior light on. The vehicle checked secure.

2:18 a.m. – A 911 call came in from A Mildred Circle resident reporting her alarm sounded and she found a door and the garage open. She believed the door was secure, but was uncertain about the garage door prior to the alarm. Police checked the residence, and found no signs of attempted entry.

11:01 a.m. – A 911 hangup came in from Newbury Court. It was confirmed to be accidental.

11:56 a.m. – A Monument Street resident called 911 to report a roadway obstruction in front of her home on Monument Street. Due to high winds, several barrels were in the roadway, the police incident report said.

12:27 p.m. – A Winchester resident walked into the station to report losing a Sony camera with wildlife photos on it somewhere near St. Bernard’s Cemetery.

12:33 p.m. – Police responded to a report claiming a blue Jeep attempted to run another vehicle off the roadway on Route 117 west by Sudbury Road. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle in question.

4:25 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a minor traffic collision by the West Concord Plaza. There was no reported personal injury, and the vehicles went on their way.

7:22 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Main Street and Baker Avenue, A Lexington man was summonsed for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating with his registration suspended/revoked, unregistered motor vehicle and operating with his license suspended.

9:35 p.m. – An Author’s Road resident reported several items were missing from her home, which she noticed were missing on separate dates since the fall.

10:35 p.m. – A caller from Concord Health Care reported receiving suspicious phone calls from a man screaming that he was coming to visit a patient there. Police checked the area and found no one attempting to get in the building, and then stuck around until the shift change.
