Police Log: Threats by Text, Suspicious Vehicle and a Deer Stuck in a Fence

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Nov. 20

7:17 a.m. – A 911 call came in from Mattison Drive reporting a deer caught in a fence somewhere along the street. The animal was badly injured and put down by an officer, according to the incident report.

9:02 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Sudbury Road and Devens Street, a Boxborough woman was cited for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and making a prohibited left turn.

9:12 a.m. – Police responded to a report of money missing from an employee’s purse at Emerson Hospital. However, the owner of the purse later located the missing honey at home and confirmed there were no issues.

10:40 a.m. – A Maynard woman called to complain about a landscaping truck causing a traffic hazard on Conant Street. The responding officer reported the vehicle was gone on arrival.

11:52 a.m. – A woman called from Old Road to Nine Acre Corner to complain about her neighbor’s dog running loose in the area.

2:01 p.m. – Police responded to a report of an attempted fraudulent charge on a Newbury Court resident’s credit card.

5:57 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Estabrook Road. The responding officer reported the vehicle was gone on arrival.

6:37 p.m. – Multiple calls came in reporting a male psych patient out of control and assaultive in a hallway at Emerson Hospital. The patient was restrained by hospital staff, according to the incident report.

7:19 p.m. – A group home in Napa, California, called to report a client there was receiving threatening texts from a resident of Deacon Haynes Road, with whom the client had a prior dating relationship.  As a result, the Deacon Haynes Road resident was summonsed for threatening to commit a crime.
