Police Log: Traffic Hazards and a Missing Flip Phone
The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Friday, Oct. 26
1:09 a.m. – An officer radioed in to report checking on a motor vehicle behind the Water Division on Keyes Road. The officer reported the vehicle was associated with carpet installation going on overnight at that location.
8:05 a.m. – Police responded to a report of multiple cars parked in the area of Old Stow Road near Hawthorne Village, causing a safety hazard. The vehicle’s belonged to Lazaro Paving, and they planned to move the truck causing the problem.

9:35 a.m. – A Concord woman came into the station to report losing her flip phone on Lexington Road while walking her dog.
11:57 a.m. – A Newbury Court employee called to report a Deaconess shuttle bus backed into an employee’s vehicle near the loading dock.

12:24 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a truck blocking the bridge on Main and Wood streets. The vehicle’s operator was cited for failing to obey signs.
4:27 p.m. – A caller reported a large funereal was causing a traffic hazard in the area of Court Lane and Bedford Street. Police checked the area and found no issues.
4:46 p.m. – A Concord Greene resident reported her handicap parking pass was stolen from her vehicle, possibly at the West Concord Train Depot.
6:01 p.m. – A Blue Jay Drive resident reported a paving crew on Old Stow Road was causing a safety issue. An officer checked with the foreman, who reported the crew was loading its trucks and would be out of the area shortly.
6:54 p.m. – Multiple 911 callers reported a two-car collision at Route 2 and Baker Avenue Extension.
