Police Log: Traffic Trouble, Parking Complaints and Lost Property

The following information was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, Sept. 25

7:02 a.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in which a Waste Management truck allegedly backed up into a tree, causing it to fall onto a Walden Street property. There was no reported damage to the home or property, and the Grounds Division was called due to the tree across a sidewak, the incident report said.

9:19 a.m. – A Holdenwood Road resident called to complain about two dogs on her street.

9:47 a.m. – A Prescott Road resident reported losing his iPhone somewhere in West Concord the previous Monday.

11:45 a.m. – A College Road resident reported her stroller was missing.

12:12 p.m. – Police responded to a parking complaint involving a vehicle that had been parked at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery since Sept. 21.

1:56 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the parking lot of the All-Town Mobil station at Crosby’s Corner.

2:41 p.m. – A 911 call came in reporting a minor motor vehicle accident in the area of Main Street and Harrington Avenue.

4:06 p.m. – Police responded to a report of an ongoing issue with speeding on Barretts Mill Road.

8:28 p.m. – A call came in reporting a disturbance involving a loud truck in the parking lot on Keyes Road. The responding officer reported the noise caused by workmen finishing up at the Christian Science Center in Monument Square.

8:41 p.m. – Police responded to a complaint of a black Audi driving erratically on Old Marlboro Road by Williams Road.
