Police Log: Unruly Train Passengers, a Toy Gun and a Dunken Altercation at Walden Pond

Thursday, Sept. 13
1:39 a.m. – Police responded to a call from Lexington Alarm reporting a motion alarm activation at the Nashoba Brooks School on Strawberry Hill Road. The interior of the building checked OK.
6:36 a.m. – An Old Pickard Road resident reported a barking dog in the area. The responding officer reported the dog was inside on arrival.

6:48 a.m. – The Mass Bay Commuter Rail called requesting assistance with an unruly passenger on a train at the West Concord Depot. The responding officer reported the passenger exited the train voluntarily and without incident.
10:21 a.m. – A woman flagged down an officer in Concord Center and reported seeing a shirt stained with blood or paint hanging in a tree at the intersection of College and Annursnac Hill roads. Police located the shirt on a telephone pole, and it had no stains on it.

10:49 a.m. – A 911 call came in reporting a bicyclist crashed into the back of a truck on Lowell Road. The bicyclist was transported to Lahey Clinic.
11:45 a.m. – A Copper Mine Road resident reported someone was writing checks against his account.
1:14 p.m. – The School Transportation Department requested assistance with construction vehicles parked on Simon Willard Road, preventing the school bus unable to get around the circle.
2:55 p.m. – A letter carrier called to complain about an older woman in a white sedan running a Stop sign at Pine and Central streets.
3:45 p.m. – A Pilgrim Road resident called to report vehicles speeding on her street due to area road closures.
4:54 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the parking lot at Emerson Hospital.
6:19 p.m. – A Bedford man reported that, while bicycling on Virginia Road, he saw what looked like a silver gun with red dots. Police located a plastic toy gun in the area.
7:40 p.m. – State Police reported taking a Concord woman into protective custody after she was allegedly involved in a drunken altercation at the Walden Pond parking lot.
