Police Log: Wild Animals and An OUI Arrest
The following was provided by the Concord Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Tuesday, Sept. 25
4:02 a.m. – Police responded to an American Alarm activation reporting a general burglary on Main Street. The caller cancelled the response after input from the homeowners.
10:41 a.m. – A call came in from Sudbury Police relaying a report of three dogs found in the area of Routes 2 and 2A at Crosby’s Corner. After another call reporting a black dog in the roadway on Route 2 west, police responded to the area and were unable to locate any loose animals running ‘round.

1:47 p.m. – A call came in reporting an injured woodchuck on Plainfield Road. Police checked the area but the animal was gone on arrival.
2:40 p.m. – A 911 call came in reporting a FedEx truck striking a vehicle in the area of Walden Kitchen, causing minor damage.

4:30 p.m. – Police responded to a reported traffic complaint on Route 2 at Crosby’s Corner reporting an unknown driver with Maine plates was operating erratically in the area.
6:05 p.m. – A woman walked into the station reporting she must have left her wallet on top of her car while leaving the Acton area.
6:10 p.m. – A Commonwealth Avenue resident reported hearing shots in the area of Warner’s Pond. According to the police report, the shots were fired by a Stow resident with a valid permit and written notice allowing him to hunt on the MCI Farm property.
10:12 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Monument and Lang streets, Daniel Lee Sperry, 48, of 118 Hammond St., #1L, Waltham, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, operating with a suspended license, speeding and marked lanes violation.
