Police Logs for Monday, May 28 and Tuesday, May 29

Monday, May 28

1:50 a.m.: Reports of a disabled vehicle near 27 Bedford St. The vehicle was not a hazard and AAA was en route.

10:34 a.m.: Reports of two stolen at . Investigation is under way.

10:38 a.m.: Reports of a disabled vehicle near 615 Concord Turnpike at 680 Walden St. The vehicle was moved off of the road, not a hazard, AAA en route.

10:48 a.m.: Resident reported small brown wallet lost in the vicinity of Crosby’s Market. The officer advised the resident to cancel their credit cards.

12:06 p.m.: Reports of construction worker on site violating town bylaw in the area of 319 Strawberry Hill Rd. This situation was cleared, as there was no bylaw violation.

1:16 p.m.: Reports of a taillight broken by a shovel at 80 Westfield Road occurred some time late Saturday night or early Sunday morning.

1:22 p.m.: Report of someone finding $100 in cash. Owner located and the cash was returned.

2:09 p.m.: Reports of a missing 8 ½ by 11 manila envelope containing old family photos at 27 Birch Drive. Search is on going.

2:14 p.m.: Report from Walden Rehab of past larceny of $25 cash and a debit card from an unattended purse at some point between 8 and 10:30 a.m. Owner states that the debit card had been used for purchases of more than $100 at establishments in Worcester.

2:26 p.m.: Roadway obstruction reported in the vicinity of 860 Main St. Scattered nails reported in the Route 2 Westbound lane. Area clear when responding officers arrive on scene.

2:59 p.m.: Report of a scooter rider who had fallen off of a scooter on Sudbury Road by the bridge near 970 Sudbury Road. Rider was transferred to Emerson Hospital.

3:22 p.m.: Dog reported in black Honda Pilot at Main Street and Walden Street with the windows up too high for the dog. A message was left on the owners phone warning them of potential consequences.

5:05 p.m.: Report of lost Siamese cat from 385 Nashawtuc Road.

8:35 p.m.: Report of disabled vehicle on Fitchburg Turnpike. Vehicle was gone by the time the police arrived.

Tuesday, May 29

 3:33 a.m.: Rear hatch of a Volkswagen Tiguan reported on Hubbard Street. Police determined this was due to neglect and closed the hatch.

9:49 a.m.: Hazardous driver reported driving erratically on Main Street in West Concord. Driver said they were looking for a doctor’s office and couldn’t find it. No sign of impairment.

11:04 a.m.: Parking ticket issued to vehicle parked in front of driveway on Main Street.

12:55 p.m.: Reports of construction vehicles obscuring the sight line on Academy Lane. The vehicles were moved.

2:09 p.m.: Plate ran on a black vehicle on Lexington Road was given to a white van. The van appeared to have wrong plates. The van was gone before the police could inquire.

4:32 p.m.: A Subaru and a Toyota were involved in an accident that resulted in an exchange of papers at 768 Elm St.

6:42 p.m.: Vehicle parked in no parking zone near White Pond Road. The owner was advised to move the car.

7:34 p.m.: Resident brought a coat into the station reported missing.

8:11 p.m.: A Honda Odyssey returned home from when the driver noticed and reported damage. Someone had backed into the fender and took off.

8:32 p.m.: A disabled vehicle was reported on the Concord Turnpike. It was moved off of the road and the owner made their arrangements to be towed.

9:04 p.m.: Reports of a White Camry driving erratically. Vehicle was swerving and struck the curb. Briefly stopped on Main Street and Elm Street and continued on toward Route 2. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
