Police Logs For Wednesday, May 30 to Thursday, May 31

Wednesday, May 30

11:23 a.m.: Reports of a lost grey Tabby cat.

12:10 p.m.: Disabled car reported on Baker Ave. AAA on the scene at this time. Vehicle was repaired and is on its way.

1:53 p.m.: Report of truck on fire in the driveway of Concord Health Care near Route 2. No fire, police canceled on route. No hazard.

7 p.m.: Vehicle reported disabled near 209 Walden St. Vehicle was gone on arrival.

9:46 p.m.: Reports of a BMW with the trunk open near 105 Thoreau St. Situation clear as the trunk had been left open out of neglect.

10:36 p.m.: Suspicious vehicle parked near the cemetery gate near 543 Bedford Street. Operator was lost and was adjusting the GPS

 

Thursday, May 31 

2:21 a.m.: Driver walked into the station to report involvement in a single vehicle collision with a fence on Walden Street. No passenger in the vehicle located near 363 Walden St. with confirmed damage and airbag deployment. Three cement post guardrails also damaged.

9:43 a.m.: Reports of a missing cat near the Everett Gardens.

10:00 a.m.: Report of tree moving company working on Monument Street blocking one lane of traffic. Workers would move the vehicle soon.

10:35 a.m.: Vehicles reported parked facing the wrong direction at the Alcott School.

12:55 p.m.: Plywood taken over the long weekend at Concord Mews Clubhouse Building. Case will be reviewed.

1:22 p.m.: Reports of a lost American short-haired gray cat in the area of Wayside Road.

3:03 p.m.: Ford Escape and a Subaru Outback were involved in a collision with injuries at Main and Conant Street. Both vehicles were towed.

3:23 p.m.: Vehicle off the side of the road on Main and Coolidge Street out of gas. Has help enroute not a hazard.

3:32 p.m.: A Subaru and a Chevy were involved in a crash with papers exchanged at the UPS Store at 60 Thoreau St.

3:56 p.m.: Report of two illegally parked vehicles on Mitchell Road. Both vehicles issued parking citation.

4:15 p.m.: Reports of landscaping company that had dumped two piles of dirt in the roadway on Bartlett Hill Road by Monument Street. The landscapers were spoken to by the police, they said they’ll move it.

4:53 p.m.: Office turned in a wallet to the front desk, which was given to him by a party on Main Street.

7:18 p.m.: Toyota Camry and a Toyota Rav4 were in an accident in the parking lot Papa Razzi Restaurant. Papers were exchanged.

7:43 p.m.: Report of contractors being too loud too late in the evening on Elm Street. Officers spoke with the contractors, who shut down their work for the evening.

8:31 p.m.: Report of a sick/injured raccoon in the area Fairhaven Road by Sudbury Road.  Officers were unable to locate the raccoon.

8:34 p.m.: Report of a sick/injured raccoon in the area of Thoreau Street. Officers were unable to locate the raccoon.

10:55 p.m.: Report of a disabled vehicle on the Concord Turnpike. Possible single vehicle collision with note stating that the wrecker was enroute.
