Police Logs Friday, May 4 through Sunday, May 6

Friday, May 4

12:11 a.m.: Unknown party at the door of a Main Street residence. Neighbors told responding officers that they had heard people on the fire escapes. No one located at that time, police will continue to survey the area.

8:05 a.m.: Reports of idling vehicle on Monument for more than 30 min. Vehicle was moved after making a delivery. 

12:10 p.m.: Water main broke at site of excavation on Belknap/Thoreau Street. Large volume of water in street flowing towards Main Street.

1:19 p.m.: iPhone brought to the station found in the vicinity of 42 Thoreau Street. Party contacted, will be picked up later.

1:23 p.m.: Reports of disabled vehicle on Walden Street near Walden Pond. Vehicle towed.

3:21 p.m.: Silver Prius passed driver in a no passing zone on Old Marlboro Road. Police were unable to locate the driver.

4:39 p.m.: A Chevy Cobalt and a Volvo were in a collision and papers were exchanged.

6:10 p.m.: Vehicle parked on Williams Road. Tired driver.

9:15 p.m.: Report of erratic driver on RTE. 117W At Nine Acre Corner. Area checked, driver gone when the police arrived.

9:29 p.m.: Disabled vehicle on Old Bedford Road at Bedford Street.

9:43 p.m.: Two vehicles reported parked at the end of Varick Street. One car moved, one parked legally.

11:03 p.m.: Dog reported on the roadway on Sudbury Road at the Nashawtuc Country Club. Gone when the police arrived.

11:10 p.m.: Reports of erratic driver on Lowell Road. Carlisle advised.

11:44 p.m.: Loose husky in the road near Garfield Street. Dog spotted, unable to apprehend.

 

Saturday, May 5

10:32 a.m.: White van reported in a suspicious activity report on Center Village Drive.

11:34 a.m.: Vehicle reported with door left open on Main Street. Door closed, no additional problems.

1:54 p.m.: Toyota Highlander and a Toyota Avalon in minor collision. One driver cited for driving without a license.

3:29 p.m.: Report of a lost cat from 554 Barretts Mill Road.

3:48 p.m.: Disabled vehicle on Main Street.

4:19 p.m.: A wallet was found in a Bank of America ATM, was turned in at the station. Party came to pick it up. 

9:20 p.m.: Sick fox near Bedford Street was gone when police arrived.

 

Sunday, May 6

1:33 a.m.: Noise complaint on Conant Street, where a male subject was making loud noises in the parking lot. His mother came to pick him up and there are not further issues. 

2:23 p.m.: Resident received a forged check to purchase chairs they had for sale on Craigslist. 

4:23 p.m.: A Citizens Bank Card was found on Lowell Road. Card was returned.

4:58 p.m.: Motor vehicle reported blocking a vehicle in a handicap spot. Owner contacted, car will be moved.

8:18 p.m.: Two loose dogs reported running in Main Street by Route 2. Owner arrived and took the dogs.

10:35 p.m.: Reports of barking dogs coming on Pilgrim Road.
