Suspect in Wild Police Chase Arraigned from Hospital Bed

Donald Hall was charged with a host of crimes after a chase all over Middlesex County Monday.

The man who police said carjacked several vehicles and fired gunshots at pursuing cruisers during a wild chase through Middlesex County earlier this week was arraigned from his hospital bed Wednesday.

Donald Hall pleaded not guilty to nine charges at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, according to WHDH-7News.

Police said the drama started early Monday morning when Hall stole a car in Heverhill, according to 7News. Police started chasing him after he ditched that vehicle in Newton and stole an Acura, according to reports. He then ditched that car in Billerica and carjacked a white Toyota Tundra truck—then ditched that vehicle for a Ford Flex sport utility vehicle in Concord. He allegedly drove through Hanscom Air Force Base, crashing into gates. He then crashed the Flex into a utility pole in Bedford, and officers arrested him.

Police said Hall exchanged gunfire with officers during the chase. No officers or bystanders were hurt.
