Week in Review: Minuteman's Reconstruction Plans, EEE Detected in Mosquitoes, and First Parish Marks 375 Years

A look back at this past week's top headlines.

As usual, it was a busy week here in Concord. Here's a look back at this week's top stories.

On Monday, we heard about the Legislative Breakfast, during which for both state and local officials. As Minuteman works on a new regional agreement with their 16 member towns in order to move forward with their reconstruction plans, officials said changing the school to replicate modern work environments is essential to its success. They also said a reconstruction would be necessary to attract students to the school.  

The , notifying residents of a test batch of mosquitoes in Sudbury, near the Concord town line, that tested positive for Eastern Equine Encephalitis. People are encouraged to protect themselves against mosquito bites and guard against mosquito breeding areas in their yards and round their properties. No human cases of EEE have been reported in the area.

On Tuesday, we got all the rules for . Submissions are due in to Concord Park or Dabblers by Oct. 27. We also got a look at the Concord Public Works Department's and system maintenance.

On Wednesday, we saw a video of the through Lexington, Concord and Lincoln. The Liberty Ride is celebrating its 10th anniversary season this year.

The Planning Board put out a call for volunteers to serve on the on Wednesday as well.
