William Raveis Real Estate Opens Concord Office

Ten agents handling $50 million in volume will form the core of the office opening this week in Concord Center.

A new player has entered the real estate game here in Concord and expects to debut with more heft than the traditional newcomer.

William Reveis Real Estate this week opens its Concord Center office with plans to build around a core group of 10 agents who have between 20 and 30 years working in the community, according to Rosemary Kelleher, sales manager for the office.

“We don’t open an office unless we have a commitment to production,” Kelleher told Patch last week.

Kelleher said the local William Raveis office, located at 85 Main St., is excited to be a part of the community.

To that end, they sponsored a house in the recent Holiday House Tour and will be handing out reusable shopping bags and aluminum water bottles during the Chamber of Commerce’s holiday shopping night to be held from 5 to 8 p.m. tomorrow, Dec. 13.

In advance of the opening, renovations were still underway last week when William Raveis and his son Chris Raveis stopped by for a final inspection of the buildout.

The elder Raveis said the company has had its eye on Concord for some time now, and even held the lease on its current space for five years before opening the office.

“Our intention was to be here,” William Raveis said. “Concord is a high-end community, which is something we’re comfortable with.”

Chris Raveis echoed his father's sentiments, saying as the company builds its reputation in Massachusetts, Concord feels like a good fit.

“It’s a great market that has synergies with other markets we’re already in,” he said. “We’re excited. We think we’re going to be really successful.”
