Intorduction to Catholic Spirituality

Holy Family Parish in Concord, Massachusetts, in collaboration with Saint Irene Parish in Carlisle, will be hosting renowned theologian and Boston University professor Claire Wolfteich on Thursday, February 7. The presentation on the subject of Adult Faith and Spirituality will take place at Saint Irene’s parish hall 181 East Street in Carlisle at 7:30 PM. This class will also fulfill a theological requirement for Basic Catechist Certification in the Archdiocese of Boston.

Claire Wolfteich is an Associate Professor of Practical Theology and Spiritual Formation at Boston University’s School of Theology. Her teaching and research interests include Christian spirituality, women’s spiritual autobiography and American Catholicism. She co-directs the Center for Practical Theology and directs the Spiritual Formation and Church Life Project at BU’s School of Theology. Claire received both her M.Div. and Ph.D degrees from the University of Chicago. An active member of Holy Family Parish, Claire lives in Concord with her husband and children.

We are extremely proud and happy that Professor Wolfteich will be coming to Carlisle as part of our ongoing Adult Faith Formation program. The presentation will be held at Saint Irene’s 181 East Street in Carlisle at 7:30 PM.  A donation of $5 – 10 is deeply appreciated.
