Music the Pilgrims ran away from

Recorders/Early Music MetroWest's second meeting of the year is on Saturday, November 13, with the theme "Music the Pilgrims ran away from" focussing  on the rich heritage of late 16th and early 17th century English music, with a little foray to Amsterdam for some Dutch treats.

Guest coaches Eric Haas, Emily O'Brien and Sarah Cantor lead recorder consorts in madrigals, anthems, psalm settings and instrumental consorts.   This playing meeting offers three consorts by graded level; a fourth coach will be added if registration is high.

Special guest Heinrich Christensen (King's Chapel, Boston) will lead a
choral morning sampling works by Cornysh, Tallis, Byrd, Gibbons,
Sweelinck, Estocard and others.  Music is available in advance (sent as PDF).
