Trinity Forum: Out of My Comfort Zone

Trinity Episcopal Church in Concord invites you to its Sunday morning Adult Forum, Trinity's adult education program, which meets weekly at 9 AM to hear speakers connect us to these topics: word, worship, wonder, world, and witness, five important aspects of our Christian life.

On Sunday, May 27, Patricia Kent, PNP will share her experiences on a recent medical mission to the Dominican Republic.  In March she went on a two-week nursing mission trip to the Dominican Republic with 15 other nurses under the establishment of Intercultural Nursing, Inc.  Intercultural Nursing sends nurses and nurse practitioners to remote villages in the Dominican Republic to provide nursing services and treat medical conditions of people of all ages.

Patricia Kent is a pediatric nurse practitioner who has worked at MassGeneral Hospital for Children since 1996 in the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Unit.  Come listen to Patrica's slide presentation about her first third world country experience, "Out of My Comfort Zone: A mission trip to the Dominican Republic".  She thanks the Trinity parish for all their support in helping to make this adventure happen.

Trinity's invited Forum speakers come from many walks of life and have addressed all manner of topics. Among our recent topics are pilgrimage, faith lost and found, histories and Biblical persons, death, dying and grieving, parenting, stewardship, education, and much more.

Childcare begins in Trinity's nursery at 9 AM; Trinity's buildings are fully accessible.
