Forum Offering In-Depth Look at New High School Plans

The CCHS Building Committee and architectural firm OMR will present the findings of a feasibility study.

Boston Bruins fans won’t be the only ones on the edges of their seats this evening as parents in Concord will be granted a comprehensive look at plans for a new high school during a community forum at 7:30 p.m.

The Concord-Carlisle High School Building Project Committee is nearing completion of a new high school feasibility study and will present their findings tonight. Architectural firm OMR will also be on hand to offer a comprehensive presentation on design options that exist for a new building, as well as how those options will fall in line with Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) restrictions.

The feasibility study began last year as a way to look at the current Concord-Carlisle High School (CCHS) structure and determine if renovations would suffice or if a new building was needed. CCHS Building Committee members have and tonight’s forum will offer an in-depth look at what they have thus far found.
