On the hottest day of the year, Concord-Carlisle’s bats caught fire.
Ali Della Volpe and Angela DeBruzzi both hit home runs, helping the Patriots rout Boston Latin, 13-0, at Daisy Field to clinch a postseason berth Tuesday.
Della Volpe smacked four hits and drove in two, while DeBruzzi finished just a double short of the cycle and had four RBI for C-C (10-2).
