Things settled in the second, with Fenn boys moving the ball patiently and deliberately. Kevin Kelleher of Sudbury scored in the second, tapping in the ball after a handsome sequence of sideline passes between Spencer Pava of Weston and Sammy Hankaoui of Maynard. Concord's Nicholas Schoeller finished off the Fenn scoring, 4-1 the final. Fenn's JV squad is 2-0 on the season.

The Fenn School's Fall sports season kicked off under a clear sky last month, with Fenn's JV soccer team hosting Brookwood School from Manchester (Mass).

After a scoreless opening half, Fenn began to control the play early in the second half, with smooth ball control and subsequent possession. Seventh-graders Kevin Kelleher and Charlie Fitzsimmons, both of Sudbury, quickly began an onslaught in which Fenn scored five straight goals. Chewy Bruni, a compact seventh-grader from Sudbury, capitalized twice on 20-yard shots, while eighth-grader Tommy McKeown of Concord added another goal in the 5-0 win.

Alex Hill of Concord put on a show with some athletic saves in recording the shutout.

Meanwhile, Fenn's squad soccer team registered a convincing 3-0 win on Friday at Hillside, with Ted McClusky (Sudbury) and Shep Greene (Sudbury) scoring.
