Monday Essentials: A Recital for Typhoon Haiyan Relief, 'A Christmas Carol' and a Gingerbread Workshop

1. Typhoon Haiyan Relief Benefit RecitalAt 7 p.m. this Wednesday, Dec. 11, Trinitarian Congregational Church in Concord will host a piano recital featuring local resident Tanya Bartevyan to benefit Typhoon Haiyan relief. The event is sponsored by Trinitarian Congregational Church, Trinity Episcopal Church, and Newbury Court. Get the details here

3. Artist Reception with Maryalice EizenbergAt 4 p.m. this Thursday, Dec. 12, Frame-ables in Concord, will host an artists reception with oil painter Maryalice Eizenberg, whose works will be on display at Gallery 11 from Nov. 23 through Jan. 4. Get the details here

4. Ebenezer Scrooge: A Christmas CarolNew Life Fine Arts Musical Theater's original musical adaptation of "Ebenezer Scrooge: A Christmas Carol" hits the stage at the Emerson Umbrella at 7:30 p.m. this Friday, Dec. 13. Get the details here

5. Gingerbread House Decorating Workshop for ChildrenAt 2 p.m. this Saturday, Dec. 14, the Fowler Branch Library will host a gingerbread house decorating workshop for children. Get the details here.
