Monday Essentials: Christmas Week in Concord
Here's a quick look at what you need to know for the week ahead in Concord.
1. School's Out: Concord's public school students broke for Christmas/Winter vacation on Friday, Dec. 20, according to the district's calendar, and they won't return to school after the New Year, on Thursday, Jan. 2.
2. Public Meetings Preview: According to the town website, the only public meeting scheduled for this week is the Concord Retirement Board at 9:30 a.m. on Monday.
3. Christmas is Wednesday: Which means things like town offices, schools, the Postal Service, retailers, liquor stores, supermarkets and some restaurants will be closed. Plan accordingly.
4. Children's Pageant & Christmas Eve Service: At 3:30 p.m. this Tuesday, Dec. 24, Trinity Episcopal Church invites all to attend the annual Family Service and Children's Christmas Pageant on Christmas Eve. Get the details here.
