Monday Essentials: Thanksgiving, Hanukkah and Thanksgivukkah in Concord
Here's a quick look at what you need to know for the week ahead in Concord.

1. Thanksgiving's This Thursday: Which means town offices are closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29. The library and schools will be closed, as well.
2. Public Meetings Preview: According to the town website, here's the week's lineup of public meetings:
- Monday, Nov. 25:
- Tuesday, Nov. 26: the Trails Committee at 8 a.m., the Local Emergency Planning Committee at 9 a.m., the Concord and Concord-Carlisle School Committees at 6:30 p.m. and the Concord Cultural Council at 7:30 p.m.
- Wednesday: Nov. 27:
4. Hanukkah Crafts at Barefoot Books: At 11 a.m. this Wednesday, Nov. 27, you can drop by Barefoot Books to start the first day of Hanukkah with fun and easy crafts. Get the details here.
5. Concord Turkey Trot: The 4th annual Concord Turkey Trot 5K to benefit Open Table will be held at 8:30 a.m. Thanksgiving morning, this Thursday, Nov. 28. Get the details and registration information here.
6. Grand Community Hannukah Festival and Silent Auction: At 3:30 p.m. this coming Sunday, Dec. 1, the Acton Concord Chabad Center will host the 9th annual Grand Community Hannukah Festival and Silent Auction at the Concord Scout House, located at 74 Walden St., Concord. Get the details here.
