Monday Essentials: Thanksgiving, Hanukkah and Thanksgivukkah in Concord

Here's a quick look at what you need to know for the week ahead in Concord.

1. Thanksgiving's This Thursday: Which means town offices are closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29. The library and schools will be closed, as well.

3. Thanksgivukkah ... It's a Thing, ApparentlyThanksgiving and the first full day of Hanukkah both fall on Nov. 28 this year. 

4. Hanukkah Crafts at Barefoot BooksAt 11 a.m. this Wednesday, Nov. 27, you can drop by Barefoot Books to start the first day of Hanukkah with fun and easy crafts. Get the details here.

5. Concord Turkey TrotThe 4th annual Concord Turkey Trot 5K to benefit Open Table will be held at 8:30 a.m. Thanksgiving morning, this Thursday, Nov. 28. Get the details and registration information here

6.  Grand Community Hannukah Festival and Silent AuctionAt 3:30 p.m. this coming Sunday, Dec. 1, the Acton Concord Chabad Center will host the 9th annual Grand Community Hannukah Festival and Silent Auction at the Concord Scout House, located at 74 Walden St., Concord. Get the details here.
