It might trace its origins to Italy, but at this point, pizza is practically as American as apple pie. 

And when you're winding down after a long week and looking for a quick dinner option for the family on a Friday or Saturday night, pizza can be an appealing option. 

Now, when it comes to pizza, everyone has their own preference; the Greek vs. Italian, Chicago-style vs. thin crust debates can run hot enough to rival the most heated sports rivalries. 

But, still, sometimes it can help to see what other diners have to say. At least as a baseline if you haven't already found the neighborhood joint you like best.

  2. Sorrento's Brick Oven Pizzeria 
  3. Walden Italian Kitchen
  4. Dino's Kouzina & Pizzeria 
  5. Rossini's Pizzeria
  6. Domino's
Editor's Note: Rossini's was listed twice -- in the No. 5 and 6 spots -- in the Yelp rankings. And Yelp omitted Comella's, which is closed temporarily for relocation, along with Papa Razzi and Vincenzo's Ristorante, which also serve pizza/pizzettas.
