Weekend Agenda: A Hanukkah Festival, a Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting

1. Beautiful Pigments with Maryalice Eizenberg
Where/When: Frame-ables 111 Thoreau St., Concord; beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 28
Why Go: 
To see the work of oil painter Maryalice Eizenberg, whose subjects include landscapes, picturesque homes, and eclectic still life's. Says Eizenberg: "I am equally drawn to the plein air landscape and the still life. It is the arrangement of shapes and color that draws me in." Get the details here

2. Step Inside a Story: 'The Return of Cleo'
Where/When: Barefoot Books, 89 Thoreau St., Concord; 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 30 
Why Go: 
Step Inside a Story is a new, interactive workshops in which children will get a chance to dig deep into selected titles through a story time, a themed craft, and fun games. Get the details here

3. Irving Berlin's 'White Christmas'
Where/When: Weston Town Hall, One Town House Road, Weston; 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 30 and 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 1 
Why Go: 
Because it's Irving Berlin's "White Christmas," as presented by the Weston Friendly Society.

4. Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting 
Where/When: Concord Center; 4:45 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 1 
Why Go: 
Because favoirtes like Frosty, Mrs. Claus and Louisa May Alcott work the crowd before Santa arrives by fire truck to light the tree in Monument Square. There will be seasonal songs sung by carolers and the Sounds of Concord.

5. Grand Community Hannukah Festival and Silent Auction
Where/When: Concord Scout House, 74 Walden St., Concord; 3:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 1
Why Go: 
To celebrate Hanukkah with the Acton Concord Chabad Center's 9th annual Grand Community Hannukah Festival and Silent Auction. For more info, visit www.ActonConcordChabad.org.
