1. Climate Solutions: Pathways to Action

2. Concord Children's Center Open House
Where/When: All three CCC sites (West Concord, Emerson and Ripley); 9 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 16
Why Go:
Popular local early childhood education and care provider Concord Children's Center is hosting its annual fall open house, providing info on programs for children ages 10 weeks-2nd grade at each of the school's three sites -- at West ConcordRipley and Emerson -- as all three will be open to visitors.

3. Teen Actors' Workshop on Clowning at Emerson Umbrella
Where/When: Down Stage at Emerson Umbrella, Emerson Umbrella Center for the Arts, 40 Stow Street, Concord; 12 p.m, Saturday, Nov. 16 
Why Go: 
Leslie Pasternack -- the playwright, actor, theater artist and educator who regular tours with her solo show 'The Clean Room' -- will host a 3-hour teen workshop on clowning techniques at Emerson Umbrella, which is also hosting her show this weekend.

4. The Savoyard Light Opera Company Presents Gilbert & Sullivan's The Mikado
Where/When: Corey Auditorium at Carlisle Middle School, Church St, Carlisle; 2 p.m, Sunday, Nov. 17 
Why Go: 
For "the glorious music and witty comedy of Gilbert & Sullivan's The Mikado, featuring full orchestra, original scenery, lush costumes and professional lighting." Get the details here

5. Sarasa Ensemble and Mezzo Krista River
Where/When: First Parish in Concord, 20 Lexington Road, Concord; 7 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 17
Why Go: 
Because the Sarasa Chamber Music Ensemble begins its Concord series with a concert featuring Boston based mezzo-soprano Krista River. Get the details here.
