Ohio topped the list for most foul-mouthed callers. Marchex examined more than 600,000 calls over a year that were placed by consumers to businesses in 30 different industries. Though Massachusetts people don’t curse much, they also don’t say “please” and “thank you” enough, either. Massachusetts was ranked the second least courteous state in the report.
