The Concord Carlisle Patriots lost their last game of the regular season to the Framingham Flyers 15-8 in Framingham last Tuesday. The game was more competitive than the final score would indicate. Within the first minute of the game the Patriots took momentum with goals from Josie Morrison and Allie Barrett to go up 2-0, followed by a 3-1 lead just two minutes into the game. The Concord Carlisle Patriots (12-4) defeated the Reading Rockets (14-4), 13-10 Saturday at Doug White Field. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.
It's football season and our hometown teams are off to great starts. Whether you're focused on the New England Patriots playing in Foxboro, or the Concord Carlisle Patriots playing at Memorial Field, both teams have an equal opportunity to make return trips to their respective super bowls. The New England Patriots took their home opener this weekend, 35-21, in a hard fought battle against the San Diego Chargers. The Concord Carlisle Patriots trounced Lexington this weekend, 40-14. Today's Question of the Day, regarding either team, is: Do you think the Patriots will make another super bowl run?
