[Updated 10:42am] Acton, Concord and State Police Looking for Missing Woman

The Connecticut woman's car was last seen in the Route 2/Hosmer Street area.

10:42am: Massachusetts State Police now say their ground and air search for a missing Connecticut woman, Robin Sack, is done. Her car has been towed to a State Police facility to be processed by crime scene technicians. The State Police Detective Unit attached to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office will assume control of the investigation. State Police and local police this morning searched for Sack, whose car was found abandoned on the westbound side of Route 2 in Acton early this morning. UPDATED: Sudbury Man Dies From Injuries from Saturday's Motorcycle Crash

One person taken to Emerson Hospital with undisclosed injuries.

(EDITOR'S NOTE: Due to an error in a press release issued by the Concord Police Department, the last name of the victim involved in Saturday's crash was misspelled. The victim was Sam Zebian of Sudbury.) According to the Concord Police Department, a Sudbury man involved in a motorcycle crash at Nashawtuc Country Club Saturday afternoon has died. Sam Zebian, 27, was operating the motorcycle when he struck a vehicle driven by Jarryd Heyl, 20, of Bedford. Heyl was not injured in the crash. Concord police said Zebian was found to be suffering from life-threatening injuries and was subsequently transported to Emerson Hospital. He was later pronounced dead at Emerson Hospital. Police Log: Man Going Through Trash; Suspicious Call

The Concord Police Department supplied the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

The following incidents were documented in the Concord Police logs. Operating with Suspended License Concord Police stopped a 2010 Toyota Tundra in the area of Concord Turnpike and Sandy Pond Road at 4:34 p.m. on Feb. 22. After conducting the stop, officers cited the driver of the vehicle, 45-year-old Phillip Bemis of Wrentham, with operating with a suspended license. Suspicious Phone Call A Concord resident told police at 4:54 p.m. on Feb. 22 that she received a suspicious phone call that day. The woman said that someone had asked her for money, claiming that it was for her injured grandson. The woman said that she hung up the phone before speaking with her grandson, who confirmed that he was not injured and did not make the call. The …

The following incidents were documented in the Concord Police logs. Suspicious Character at Hospital A caller from Emerson Hospital reported at 10:45 a.m. on June 27 that a male subject was discovered walking around the secure area of Labor and Delivery claiming to sell children’s clothing. The subject was escorted off the grounds by security, according to police reports, and immediately left the area after. The man was later told verbally that he would receive a trespass notice to stay away from the secure area. Peeping Driver A resident on Anson Rd. reported suspicious activity on June 27 at 7:50 p.m. The caller stated that a man in a red Toyota Camry was seen in the area multiple times over the last weekend. Update: 'Distraught' Woman Found at Walden Pond

Concord PD says same woman involved in search last year.

Concord Police were called by a Waltham social worker at 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday about a 40-year-old woman who was missing from her home. Lt. Roy Mulcahy said the caller suspected the woman may have been suicidal, and may be at Walden Pond. Mulcahy said he notified the Waltham PD to search the woman's home, but she was not there. The Concord PD searched for her car and found it at Arena Terrace. Mulcahy said the same woman was involved in a search and rescue at Walden Pond last year. He said a family member told police that if her car was in Concord, she was probably in the woods at Walden Pond. Domestic Violence Breakfast Uplifts Volunteers

Middlesex County DA Gerry Leone spoke of importance of community partnerships.

Domestic violence, in its many forms, was squarely on the table at Thursday's Appreciation Breakfast for the Domestic Violence Services Network. The parish hall at the First Parish Church was filled to capacity with police officers from the 11 towns that participate in the partnership between community and law enforcement, as well as scores of volunteers that man phones and offer advocacy to victims of abuse. James Hicks, who was on his last day as police chief in Bedford before moving to the Natick department, spoke about the importance of the DVSN, an outgrowth of DVVAP which was started by former Concord Chief Len Wetherbee. Hicks said he helped write a grant to keep the phones and volunteers working, and gave department space for the …
