A Talk About the Economy, and Some Relaxing Crafts
The library starts this year’s Thursday Author Series, and the local craft store hosts a craft fair.
Good morning and welcome to a brand-new week! I’m happy to be here, are you? I spent every spare minute this weekend reading the biography of Steve Jobs for my book group – fascinating history, especially as I have been a Macintosh fan for, well, longer than I’d like to admit. And since I lived through the whole evolution of Apple, it’s really interesting to now view the story through the lens of history. Very eye opening, indeed. I’m a big reader, but I have to admit I haven’t read the books written by this month’s presenter at the Concord Library’s Thursday Author’s Series, happening at 7:30 p.m. this Thursday night, Sept.27.
