Musketaquid 2012 Winter Solstice: At 6 p.m. this evening at the Old Cow Pasture on Lowell Road, gather around the blazing riverside Solstice fire with warm song and good friendship to celebrate light on this darkest night. Featuring Keepers of the Solstice Fire, Earth Drum Council, Voices for the Earth Chorus, and Snow Crow. Follow luminaria from the Lowell Road Boat Launch to the Fire. 2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, the only public meeting posted for today is the Concord Retirement Board at 8:30 a.m. 3. Holiday Handbell Concert at Barefoot Books: The handbell choirs from Holy Family Parish and West Concord Union Church will be a Barefoot Books at 2 p.m. tomorrow, Dec. 22, for a 40-minute concert.
