  Good morning and welcome to a brand-new week! A pretty special week, with a whole day devoted just to eating practically in the middle of it. If you’re hosting the meal at your house, my guess is you’re up to your elbows in shopping and cooking; if you’re traveling, most likely you’re packing and canceling the paper. If you’re not doing either, well, you can sit back and relax and get ready to just eat. While the rest of us have been running around and beginning the holiday prep, we have several residents who have been very busy feeding their creative soul. Concord Man Appointed New CFO of ConforMIS

As the new chief financial officer, Peter Traynor brings more than 30 years of industry experience to the Bedford-based ConforMIS.

ConforMIS, Inc., a privately held medical device company pioneering patient-specific orthopedic implants,has announced the appointment of 30-year business and financial management veteran Peter Traynor as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Music on tap; remembering a fine Concordian

  Good morning and welcome to Friday. Happy Birthday to my good friend Gari Palmer. Hope you and your family have a wonderful day today. You’re such a warm-hearted person, you deserve gobs of good things. For the rest of us, there is lots of great live music on tap this weekend. Here is the lineup from the Colonial Inn, which by the way, is beautifully decorated for Christmas, so stop by and check out the festive decor. Get creative this Halloween season with Concord Park's Witch's Hat Decorating Contest.

Who says Halloween is just for kids? Concord Park Assisted Living is hosting a witch's hat decorating contest open to everyone on the community. "Anybody can decorate a hat and bring it in," said Meg Gaudet of Concord Park. "There's prizes — we'll have some judges coming in and the winners will get gift certificates." Submissions will be judged at Concord Park's annual Halloween party on Monday, Oct. 31. "We usually have a costume contest every Halloween," Gaudet said. "It's a lot of fun, but this time we added the element of the hat." The Halloween festivities are a big hit at Concord Park, Gaudet said.
